Forbidden Texts

The pages that survived revision, the contracts that tell the truth, and the testimony power tried to burn.

These are fragments, not exhibits polished for court. Contradictions remain because someone once tried to smooth them out.

The Furnace Gospel · Fragment 1

Blessed are those who ask what the altar costs, for they have heard the voices beneath the stone.

A banned homily whose margins contain corrections in three opposing hands.

Contract of Mara Vale

The undersigned shall receive no promise of comfort, only the unobstructed knowledge of what her comfort concealed.

Notable for containing no claim upon the signatory's soul.

Proceedings of the First Tribunal

THE COURT: Who taught them shame? THE WITNESS: Those who profited when they mistook obedience for goodness.

The presiding judge's name has been removed from every surviving copy.

Confession of a Nameless Saint

I fed the hungry where paintings could remember me. I passed them unseen when only Heaven watched.

Filed without sentence. The final page is written in an unknown hand.

The Ninth Prophecy

It predicts neither apocalypse nor salvation, but a day when the condemned stop asking their condemners to call them worthy.

Index of Erasures

Excised names, missing verses, altered pronouns, softened crimes, and miracles handed to more acceptable mouths.
